This piece takes that idea of a protective vessel and reimagines it-for ashes, mementos, a talismanic object, or a private memory
The jar is carved from Carrara marble, the stone of monuments and headstones, chosen when something is meant to be remembered, On top sits a stylized 18k gold raven, black enamel scattered with tiny diamond stars. The raven, a symbol of protection, intelligence, and passage between worlds, becomes the guardian of whatever is kept inside.
